Aranet Heads to Saskatoon for CARST 2026

Aranet is heading to this year's landmark Symposium on Radon and Radiation Protection — the first-ever joint conference of the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST) and the Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA).

Taking place at the Sheraton Hotel in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from May 27–31, 2026, the symposium brings together leading researchers, technologists, and health physicists from across Canada and beyond to advance knowledge in radon science, radiation safety, and protection best practices. It is also CRPA's 45th annual conference - a fitting milestone for such a historic collaboration.

Aranet will be on the exhibition floor showcasing the full Aranet Pro sensor ecosystem, with a particular focus on our latest breakthrough in long-term radon monitoring: the Aranet Radon Plus PRO.

Meet Us in Saskatoon

CARST and CRPA share a common mission - protecting Canadians from the health risks of radiation and fostering scientific collaboration. This joint symposium spans radon research, nuclear medicine, laser safety, radiological emergency response, uranium mining, and much more, drawing professionals who rely on accurate, real-world measurement data every day.

It is precisely that community - radon scientists, mitigation specialists, building inspectors, and public health professionals - for whom the Aranet Radon Plus PRO was engineered. We invite every attendee to visit our booth #25, experience the sensor first-hand, and talk to our team about professional deployment scenarios.

Accurate, continuous radon data is the foundation of effective protection. With Radon Plus PRO, we've made that foundation accessible to every professional in the field.

Aranet Radon Plus PRO

  • Full accuracy in just 1 hour. Proprietary ionization chamber technology reaches measurement accuracy faster than any comparable device - ideal for both short-term assessments and long-term deployments.
  • Continuous monitoring with rolling averages. Real-time radon levels alongside 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day averages give professionals the complete picture they need.
  • Up to 7-year battery life. Deploy confidently without frequent maintenance visits. Truly set-and-forget long-term monitoring.
  • Multi-parameter sensing. Also measures temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure - all in one device.
  • NRPP approved. Certified by the National Radon Proficiency Program as an approved measurement device, ensuring confidence in every reading.

Why It Matters at This Conference

Radon remains one of the leading environmental causes of lung cancer in Canada. Conferences like this symposium exist because accurate measurement is not optional - it is the first, indispensable step toward effective mitigation. The Aranet Radon Plus PRO was designed to remove every barrier to obtaining that accuracy: long battery life eliminates site revisits, rapid 1-hour warm-up reduces deployment time, and seamless integration with Aranet Cloud enables remote data access across an entire portfolio of buildings.

Like all sensors in the Aranet Pro series, the Radon Plus PRO connects wirelessly to Aranet base stations and the Aranet Cloud platform, enabling centralised monitoring, automated alerts, and data export — from a single office to a national building portfolio.
